Justin Baldoni has hired Defense lawyer Alexandra Shapiro, who previously represented Sean “Diddy” Combs, to join his legal team for the reason of his ongoing dispute with Blake Lively.
The It Ends With Us director has enlisted Defense lawyer Alexandra Shapiro to represent him in his ongoing dispute with Blake Lively over the 2024 film, according to court records obtained by People Sept 18.
Shapiro, who was part of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ defense team in his sex trafficking case earlier this year and served as one of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s first clerks on the Supreme Court Baldoni officially announced his role on the team in an appearance notice filed last week, the outlet reported.
Although Jane the Virgin alum Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds are facing a $400 million counter-suit, while a New York court dissolves the defamation lawsuit he filed against the couple in June, the legal matter seems to be far from over.
In court documents through NBC News earlier this month, the actress’s lawyers argued that Baldoni should bear her legal costs as a “judge defendant” in the case.
